I went to Fanime today (and am going back tomorrow) and saw a cosplayed Frodo and Pippin together. I walked by them REALLY fast, though, so I couldn’t tell whether they were genderbending or a couple or anything else like that.
They were both easily under five feet tall, and far more detailed than you’d expect.
And now I have the mental image of them buying cat ears like my party did, and I can’t think of anything cuter.
